Khanti Sar Thein Taik in Wuntho
- “Khanti Pariyatti Sar thein Taik in Wuntho” is a research work that has revealed importance of the Sãsanã in the region in the development of societies throughout history. Khanti Pariyatti Sarthin Taik of Wuntho Town, Sagaing Division, was founded in 1913. It will be a hundred years in 2013. Although the Pariyatti Sarthin Taik is quite close to the centenary year, there is not yet any book record on its history and the account of the institution. No one has attempted yet to write a book on Wuntho Pariyatti Sãsanã Monastery. For these reasons the compiler intended to compile a paper on “Khanti Pariyatti Sar thein Taik in Wuntho”. Moreover he also believes that a Myanmar Buddhist should know, take interest in the study of Khanti Pariyatti Sarthin Taik as it is a famous religious institution carrying out the three tasks of Sãsanã in Upper Myanmar.
